HSE Recruitment are working with a manufacturing company who are looking for:

SHEQ and Regulatory Officer
Salary £40-45,000
Based at their new Burntwood Facility with occasional home working
Reporting into a Head of HSEQ

This role offers something different from your normal HSEQ officer position at this new state of the art site. There will be around 180 people working on this highly automated site with high operational standard.

You will of course manage HSEQ across the manufacturing site, doing risk assessments, coaching, training, advising, accident investigations etc. but then there is the regulatory side of the role as the company create their own data sheets and own label reviews. You will be trained and developed on this aspect of the role so you have got to be willing to learn.

What we are looking for:-

• In an ideal world we will find someone with health and safety experience and experience with data sheet creation however one or the other, with a willingness to learn is more than enough.
• Ideally coming from a chemical or general manufacturing background.
• NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum ideally
• Any knowledge of chemical classification software (GHS/CLP/Hazcom) or chemical related legislation will be an advantage.
